Learn More About Frisbee Builders
Frisbee Builders was started back in 1980, when Howard Frisbee, built his first home. Howard worked in the block and brick business for 20 years before switching to house building. Howard built houses on the side, that is after hours of his daytime job as a bricklayer. After his third house, Howard decided it was time to let the bricklaying job go, and go full time into custom home building. Howard worked during the day alone, and had help from his wife and two sons.
In 1987 David Frisbee, Howard's oldest son, joined Howard in the building business after David graduated high school. David went to the local community college and completed a two-year studyin construction. David went on, and in 1989, David earned his North Carolina Contractors License.
In 1990, Daryl Frisbee, Howard's youngest son, joined the family business full time after high school. Daryl went to school to become a Realtor. Daryl also went to school and became a Certified Ministry for the Assembly of God. Daryl is also currently seeking a Bachelors Degree at Fort Hays State University.
Howard continued to build house throughout the Asheville Area with his two sons. In 2000 Howard decided to give up the business, and David and Daryl took over the family business.
In 2003 Frisbee Builders Inc was officially born, and a new S corp. was formed.
Today, David and Daryl are joint owners of the company, and has expanded the company to not just building custom and spec homes, but also into additions and remodeling and home repair. No one knows what's in store for Frisbee Builders down the road, but until its end, one thing is for sure. Frisbee Builders has been a major part in the Asheville Community, and surrounding areas, and in its wake, many, many happy and satisfying customers. It is not uncommon for us to build a second or even a third house for our customers.
